FOUNDER
As founder and CEO of Huckleberry, entrepreneurship is in Matthew Crowe's DNA.
After graduating high school, he became the fifth generation of
Crowes to take the helm of the CROWE - one of the Mid-West's premier
construction companies, founded in 1859.
Having the good fortune of learning what 150 years of experience
brings to a business, Matthew's rapid success since leaving CROWE came
as no surprise to anyone. After starting his own landscape architecture
business as a 15 year old, he sold it for a tidy profit well before his
21st birthday. In the time since Matthew has built and developed over
20 different companies with a collective worth in excess of $200
million.
Matthew's role models include inventors like Leonardo
da Vinci and Thomas Edison, as well as entrepreneur Richard Branson. He regularly writes for RealBusiness Magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle, and on his blog mattcrowe.com.
